Unique networking capabilities allow multi-site companies to standardize on one solution for their messaging needs. Through the T3main's distributed architecture and proprietary networking protocol, transparent systems can be created across multiple locations to effectively utilize network resources.
T3 NETWORKING ADVANTAGES
- Users have one common directory.
- Support for name/greeting/group/class of service across the network.
- AMIS (Audio Messaging Interchange Specification), VPIM (Voice Profile for Internet Mail) and the T3's own proprietary networking are supported to accommodate multi-site environments with multiple voice mail servers (T3 and non-T3 systems).
- Redundancy ensures that if one access point fails, mailboxes are still accessible.
T3main removes the dependency of voice mail on the PBX, optimizing bandwidth and reducing internal network traffic in multi-site organizations. T3main provides two configurations to support your network: Star and Cluster
The STAR CONFIGURATION
Your Business Needs and Challenges
- Multiple, geographically remote sites
- Multiple PBX environments
- Independent, local administration
- Users that communicate through voicemail
- A PBX infrastructure that is reaching its maximum capacity
The T3 solution
The Star Configuration provides a network of independent T3 units that communicate with each other over a proprietary IP protocol.
- Low cost and easy implementation
- Generates minimal network traffic
- Transparent voice mail communication between sites
- Local administration
- Local user database
- Local points of presence
- Immediate transfer of messages (offline)
- Plays up-to-date name and greeting of network mailbox
- Inherits network class of service
- Shared directory assistance
- Transfer to network extensions
- Follow Me
THE CLUSTER CONFIGURATION
Your business needs and challenge
- A mission-critical phone system
- Multiple, geographically remote sites
- Multiple PBX environments
- Users that need to access voice mail from multiple sites
- Users that communicate through voicemail
The T3 solution
In the Cluster configuration, each site maintains its own T3 unit that communicates back to a single, central database.
- Scalable, flexible, and available: add as many clustering components as required to support redundancy (based on Linux cluster)
- Database can be geographically distributed
- Centralized administration
- Central database
- Local points of presence (POP)
- Each POP can be attached to different types/manufacturers PBX (VoIP or TDM)
