T3 TELECOM SOFTWARE, INC RELEASES ENHANCED VOICE BIOMETRICS FUNCTIONALITY

T3 Telecom Software today announced the availability of expanded functionality in its voice biometrics product. In addition to secure voice mail and account access, the new version of T3 Viometrics can now secure physical access to a space (building or room) as well as secure access to a phone service (conference bridge or service representative).
Managing security breaches has become a source of concern in recent years, leading organizations to continually explore new ways of making business-critical applications more secure. T3 Viometrics allows organizations to authenticate a person's identity based on their unique vocal pattern though a cutting edge and non-intrusive technology. This method replaces password or PIN entry, removing the concern around stolen or shared passwords when securing voicemail, account and phone service access.
When securing a physical space, a user presses a buzzer or calls into an access number using their cell phone. Rather than having to ensure there is someone on the other side to grant access, the individual simply states his name and repeats an authentication sentence which is then validated by the system. Once authenticated, the individual is granted access. T3 Viometrics also has the capacity to set allowable times for access, based on time and date parameters.
In addition:
- T3 Viometrics does not require special training. Users simply speak into their regular phone, cell phone, or VoIP end point, to activate voice verification.
- T3 Viometrics reduces expenses associated with administering password policies and manual verification methods using live agent support.
- Viometrics Access Control functions as a stand-alone application, using the T3main platform in combination with Viometrics functionality. An IVR is not required.
